Our Journey
We started where it all begins: with dairy.
Milk, paneer, ghee, makhan, and buttermilk became our first expression of a system rooted in tradition and everyday life. It was deeply connected to how generations before us had lived.
At the center of it all were the cows.
Working closely within this system, we began to see a larger picture unfold; one that extended beyond dairy alone. It made us question: was their value only defined by what they produce, or was there something more we were missing?
That question changed everything. It changed our perspective.
We turned to something we had always seen, but never truly understood: cow dung. For generations, it had been used in homes, farms, and rituals. It was never waste. It was resourceful, sustainable, and deeply rooted in our culture.We just needed to see it that way again.
What began as curiosity turned into direction. We started experimenting, rethinking, and building. Slowly, GauNext took shape, creating products that are not only eco-friendly, but also carry a sense of purpose and tradition.
Along the way, this became more than just a business. It became a way to create livelihoods, to reduce waste, and to bring back value to something that had been overlooked.
What We Do
We work with cow dung and other agricultural inputs, materials that are often overlooked or discarded; and transform them into eco-conscious products that are both functional and meaningful. What begins as a byproduct is thoughtfully processed, refined, and designed into items that fit seamlessly into everyday life.
Our product range spans across spiritual and lifestyle categories: from diyas and incense to sustainable essentials; each crafted to be biodegradable, and rooted in Indian tradition. Every product carries a balance of purpose and design, ensuring it is not only responsible, but also relevant to modern consumers.
But what we do goes beyond product creation.
We are building a system where resources are fully utilized, not wasted. By creating value around what already exists, we extend the lifecycle of materials and contribute to a more circular way of living.
At the same time, our work enables livelihood generation at the grassroots level. By involving rural communities in the production process, we turn locally available resources into sustainable income opportunities; creating impact that is both environmental and economic.
